About Astrology & Spiritual Calculators

Our astrology and spiritual tools section combines two distinct categories: Western astrology calculators for zodiac signs, birth charts, and numerology, and Islamic calculators for religious obligations and spiritual practices.

Zodiac and astrology tools help you explore your sun sign, moon sign, and rising sign — the three pillars of your astrological profile. The Birth Chart Calculator combines all three into a comprehensive overview, while the Numerology Calculator reveals your Life Path Number based on your birthdate. These tools are designed for entertainment and self-exploration.

Islamic calculators serve a practical purpose for Muslim communities worldwide. The Zakat Calculator determines your annual charitable obligation based on total assets and the Nisab threshold. The Fitra Calculator estimates Sadaqat al-Fitr before Eid al-Fitr. The Qibla Finder uses your geographic coordinates to determine the precise direction to the Kaaba in Makkah.

The Hijri Calendar Converter translates dates between the Islamic (Hijri) and Gregorian calendars using the Tabular Islamic Calendar algorithm. Prayer time calculators estimate daily Salah times based on your location and preferred calculation method (ISNA, MWL, Egyptian, or Karachi).

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are the zodiac sign dates?

Our zodiac sign calculator uses the traditional Western tropical zodiac date ranges, which are consistent across most astrological sources. However, exact transition dates can vary by a day depending on the year, because the sun's position shifts slightly year to year. For birth dates near a cusp, consulting a detailed ephemeris provides the most precise result.

What is the difference between sun, moon, and rising signs?

Your sun sign represents your core identity and ego, determined by your birth date. Your moon sign reflects your emotional nature and inner world, based on the moon's position at birth. Your rising sign (ascendant) governs your outward appearance and first impressions, calculated from your birth time and location.

How is Zakat calculated?

Zakat is 2.5% of your total qualifying assets held for one lunar year, provided they exceed the Nisab threshold. Qualifying assets include cash, gold, silver, investments, and business inventory. Debts owed are subtracted. The Nisab is traditionally set as the value of 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver.

How accurate is the Hijri calendar converter?

Our converter uses the Tabular Islamic Calendar algorithm, which is mathematically derived and may differ from the observational calendar by 1-2 days. The actual Islamic calendar depends on moon sighting, which varies by region. For precise religious dates, consult your local Islamic authority.

What calculation method should I use for prayer times?

The best method depends on your location: ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) for North America, Muslim World League for Europe and Asia, Egyptian General Authority for Africa and the Middle East, and University of Islamic Sciences Karachi for South Asia. Each method uses slightly different sun angles for Fajr and Isha.

Is astrology scientifically proven?

Astrology is not supported by scientific evidence and is considered a pseudoscience by the scientific community. Our astrology calculators are designed for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They should not be used for making important life decisions.
